How to Start

  • 1. Input liquid helium through any input hopper. (It is recommended that the input hopper capacity be at least 32b or more)

  • At this point, you will see the neutron flux continuously increasing. Once it reaches the minimum requirement specified in the recipe, it can operate normally. With the control system, you only need to start it once to use it continuously.

Special Note: If the machine still does not work when the flux is sufficient (the host displays insufficient neutron flux), please try power cycling the host.

How to control neutron flux within a certain range

  • As per the machine description. Uncontrolled continuous growth of neutron flux will eventually lead to an explosion, which we do not want. Therefore, we need a control system to keep the neutron flux within a certain range. (Of course, you can also control it manually)

  • It is recommended to control the neutron flux by adjusting the iridium neutron reflectors inside the reactor main unit.

  • The specific approach is to read the current neutron flux via a neutron sensor. When the neutron flux is lower than a certain threshold, add iridium neutron reflectors to the reactor main unit to increase the flux; when it is higher, remove them to allow the flux to decrease naturally.

Specific Tasks

  • 1. Set the neutron flux critical point, here it is 100 MeV. (The unit in neutron sensors is MeV, please set the maximum value as large as possible to avoid control failure caused by an overly small interval)

  • 2. Build the following setup, which has two versions: the pure GT version and the pip version.

1. Why is the speed very slow when I only input 1 portion of raw materials?

Answer: This machine becomes faster the more materials you input into it. When 10 or more raw materials are input, the processing time can be reduced to under 1 second.

2. Why didn't I see liquid helium being consumed after running the recipe?

Answer: There is insufficient raw material. This machine consumes liquid helium once per second. If all raw materials are fully processed within 1 second, it will not consume liquid helium.

3. Why has the flux exceeded the recipe's minimum requirement but the machine still displays insufficient neutron flux?

A: The machine failed to refresh promptly. Please try refreshing by power cycling the host unit.
