Pre-reading Notes
The following content is a summary of core features, not a complete list. Game content will be continuously updated, and some settings may be adjusted accordingly. Please refer to the actual in-game version as the standard!
Easy Mode (Easy)
AE2 uses original (unmodded) recipes
ME Network has infinite channels
Boost steam and power generation output, increase power array machine capacity and turbine production
Configurable maintenance hatch upper and lower limit boosts
No clean room required
Partial recipe yield increases and simplifications
(MV Tier) ME Basic Pattern Assembly: Pattern assembly unit with 9 pattern slots
Assembly lines do not require ordered input
Bedrock ore veins and bedrock fluid veins have infinite reserves
Stat boosts for parallel controller hatches and speed hatches
Parallel stat boosts for steam multiblock machines
Increased maximum chain-mining block quantity
Large material resupplies from quest books
Access to Superflat and Void dimensions at LV tier
Universal factory parallel count doubled
Normal Mode (Normal)
AE2 Full Overhaul (MV tier preliminarily unlocked, HV tier enables automation)
ME Network Infinite Channels
Mob buffs (increased health, stronger attack damage, please be careful)
Assembly lines require items to be input in order to function properly
Expert Mode
Harder AE2 Modifications (Preliminary unlock for MV phase, automation unlocked at EV phase)
ME Network channels are limited, please plan your base rationally; Wireless Networks provide extra "Source Nodes", and "Sub Node" settings allow players to aggregate and distribute channels
Mobs are buffed (higher health, stronger attack damage, please exercise caution)
Steam and power generation output reduced
Machines will explode when exposed to rain
Recipe output reduced / recipes made more complex
Maintenance hatch upper and lower limits lowered
Higher wireless transmission losses
Insufficient energy during machine operation will cause the recipe to fail and the input to be cleared
Assembly lines require ordered input of items and fluids to function properly
Stats for Parallel Processing Hatch, Speed Hatch, etc., have been reduced
Power generation equipment will continue generating power and destroy excess energy when the output bus is full
The tier of the Silencing Hatch installed on a machine must match the machine's voltage tier or differ by ±1 tier, otherwise the machine will not operate
Turbines have an additional high-speed multiplier adjustment mode, allowing higher operating speed in exchange for faster rotor damage
